Have you ever seen someone in a parking lot or at a stop light that you wanted to help? Or maybe you know of someone? Do you know of anyone you could call or refer them to? Well, let us tell you about our organization. We are Cross-Body Fellowship.

My wife and I started helping people several years ago. Mainly the unhoused with small items such as socks, snacks, and hygiene items. But we wanted to do more. Well, in December of 2021, our hearts were opened to a bigger calling helping within the community. Abby connected with a special family during a local Christmas toy drive. We found out the wife was pregnant and sick with cancer. The husband missed days at work to care for her and make sure she made it to all appointments and emergency hospitals stays. He had run out of vacation days and even used up additional days that were donated to him by co-workers. His employer had done all they could do to help him and gave him resources. But sometimes, it just is not enough. Through our church, Small Groups, family and friends we were able to raise over $900 for financial assistance and gifts for their 5 children.

That is when Cross-Body Fellowship was born. We have a desire to bring together the local church and community through fellowship and serving those who are lost and in need. We want to be able to assist the community but also be resourceful and forward anyone we are unable to with another local organization who can. Often when people ask for help, they are told yes or no. But what happens if they cannot. We want to fill this gap in the San Marcos and Hays County area. Through our actions, we want to let them know that they are loved and not forgotten.
